If You (or Someone You Represent) Would Like to Be on the Share Life Podcast, Fill Out This Form

So, you'd like to be on the Share Life podcast (or you'd like someone you represent to be on the podcast)? Yeah?

The podcast name and tagline are Share Life: Stories and systems to live better and work smarter.

My goal with the podcast is to facilitate incredible conversations that people have to listen to or watch.

These interviews are virtual and conducted in a Riverside studio. The guest simply accesses the studio via Chrome using their webcam and microphone.

I've got two primary episode formats we'd likely do for the podcast.

  • Inspirational People Interview: This is a great opportunity for people to get to know the interviewee. Click here for examples. For first-time interviewees, this is what we usually do. We will trek through the following starter questions/directives as part of this episode type:
    • Tell us about you and your story.
    • What does it mean to live better?
    • What does it mean to work smarter?
    • Tell me about the importance of mentoring.
    • How have real and fictional stories/narratives shaped you as a person?
    • How should we think about and use systems?
    • What parting words of wisdom do you have to leave us with?
    • What else?
    • What are you up to, and how can people connect with you?
  • Listen-To-Learn: This is where we pick a specific topic to zoom in on, and we discuss it in depth. This format type will require developing an agenda for the conversation before recording, so more preparation work will be required. Click here for examples.

What I'm Seeking Right Now

Right now, what I'm looking for are guests who have a unique story and those who will bring a perspective that narrows in on a specific problem (or set of problems) with a compelling solution.

Some examples of the generic versus the specific problem.

  • Instead of "How to succeed as a freelancer," it is, "How do you get that first client as a freelancer?"
  • Instead of "how to talk with those you disagree with," it is "how to talk with your belligerent Republican uncle in a way that brings you closer together."
  • Instead of "how to grow your business," think "how to get your first 10 clients with cold emails" or "how to transition from being an agency operator to an empowered CEO."

An example of the type of solution that is transformational and specific.

  • For example, "the ability to scale their digital agency by 400 to 600 percent within months without sacrificing their personal well-being or presence with their family"

Podcast Guest Request

If you'd like to request to be on the podcast or are advocating on behalf of someone else, simply fill out the following form, and if it is a good fit, I'll reach out.

What is one very specific, niche problem the interviewee will help my listeners solve? (For example, instead of "how to grow your business," think "how to get your first 10 clients with cold emails" or "how to transition from being an agency operator to an empowered CEO")
After the audience has consumed the interview, describe the biggest result or transformation they will receive. Don't focus on the process; just tell me the outcome they'll walk away with. (examples: "the ability to scale their digital agency by 400 to 600 percent within months without sacrificing their personal well-being or presence with their family"
If there is some type of urgency or deadline, please share that in this field.
Include anything else here that you think is worth knowing.
