While we’ve raised enough funds for my, Madison's, and Judah's part of this trip, we encourage those who still want to give to proceed, as these additional funds can help those on our mission team who have yet to meet their fundraising goals. And if our team exceeds our fundraising goals, La Casa de mi Padre receives the surplus.

We finished! Thank you, everyone, for helping to make this possible! We can now focus on preparing for the trip next month!

We met with our team for the second time to continue training, get to know each other, and check in on fundraising.

Judah received an unexpected donation from one of his teachers to cover his entire cost! That put us almost to the finish line for fundraising!

We're moving along. We still have more letters to get out, but based on the ones we've sent so far, we're up to 20% raised! Thank you to those who have helped so far!

It's always nail-biting to start fundraising, wondering if no one will give. Today, we hit 10%, woohoo! We now know there is a way to make this happen. Be on the lookout for our letters as we deliver them across channels.

We had our first team meeting, connecting in person with everyone except 6 people on the team who were unable to join this first gathering. We introduced ourselves, reviewed some of the details of the program, and began preparing for our trip and fundraising ahead. Here's a picture of those of us who made it!

Our video letter is now done and published. This page is now ready to go, and we can start sharing the news with friends and family. Our first team meeting will be the second week of March.

We've sent in our applications to join the team and have been approved! We're heading to Central America this summer! Madison updated her list of people to reach out to for fundraising. Judah added all his community members to our list.

2/5/2026At the end of 2025, we got Judah his passport. All three of us are set to travel internationally.

Our Personal Mission Letter
In June, we — Jason, Madison, and Judah — will be traveling to San Salvador, El Salvador. We are honored to serve with global(x) and their local partner, La Casa de mi Padre, an incredible organization dedicated to restoring and reunifying families.
In El Salvador, the cycle of poverty often leads to broken homes. La Casa works to break that cycle by providing a Christ-centered family environment for children who have been separated from their biological parents. During our week there, we will be rolling up our sleeves to help with:

Property Restoration: Painting, landscaping, and cleaning at the La Finca farm.

Relational Investment: Playing games and connecting with foster families and children to show them they are loved.

Community Outreach: Hiking into rural areas to deliver meals and essential supplies to vulnerable families.
Your support makes this mission possible. The funds we raise cover more than just our travel; they directly support the ministry’s projects and the local leaders who care for these children year-round. This is a vital opportunity for us to step outside our "American bubble," grow in our faith, and serve the "least of these" in practical, life-giving ways.
