In this video, I share my YouTube journey, focusing on the analytics of my video performance from January 2025 to March 2025.
Key Video Insights & Ideas
Summary: I dove into my March 2025 YouTube analytics for the first time to see what's working, aiming to get my channel monetized. In March, I published 28 videos and got 181.6 watch hours. This was a dip from February's 237.3 hours (where I published 110 videos), but still up from January's 62 hours (from 77 videos).
My podcast interview with Allison Miller was my top performer in March. My key insights show that "Fireside Chats" and "Podcast Episodes" are strong content pillars for me, and I've found that my medium-length videos (15-39 minutes) perform best.
As expected, my "New" content drives the most engagement.
I also saw clearly in February how a single "hit" video can significantly boost my metrics.
So, for April, my strategy is to increase the number of "Podcast Episodes" and significantly boost my "Clips" (from 9 in March to around 20), while continuing with my successful "Fireside Chats."
