A Year's Worth Of Work: In Bullet Time

13 months has passed since I became a full time contractor. With a steady volume of client projects over the last 13 months, our family has embraced my life as a full time freelancer.

A large portion of the work has included coaching business leaders through a visioneering process to help them get focus and organized. The remaining amount of work has included a variety of strategic and tactical marketing support. At the end of the day, I am helping business leaders resolve their internal communication problems and external marketing challenges.

New Joomla Website Launches

Semi-Custom Joomla Website Design is one of the starting points for working together. In the past 30 days, we launched two new websites.

The first Joomla website was Brightstar Pictures.

The Third Bucket

The second website launch was The Third Bucket.

The Third Bucket Movement is designed to inspire and facilitate the giving of privately held business assets for Kingdom work. It is the strong belief and experience of the authors of The Third Bucket that lives are transformed through this process.

This includes the transformed lives of those around the world who are being served by ministries and non-profits, the transformed lives of those who work for the ministries, as they see God’s faithfulness in supplying their need for His calling, and the transformed lives of the donors, as they apply their business skills to their giving, just as they have to their business.

What Have I Been Working On The last 3 months?

I have had several friends and family ask me what I have been up to, work-wise, since we shut down Noodlehead Marketing 3 months ago. The simple answer is for the past three months, I have done contract work. It has been in a neat season of work where it has organically come my way. I appreciate being in a state where I am able to focus on the work in front of me and not get distracted by looking for new work.
 
Here are a few of the projects I have been working on.
 
 
For the first 2 months, I spent a majority of my time working with a ministry called The 315 Project. I met the founder Todd Miechiels several years ago at a leadership event called Catalyst. Over time we stayed connected and when he found out I was shutting down Noodlehead Marketing he reached out to me to help their ministry get focused and organized. We started with a service I offer called an organizational audit. It is the process of transitioning from chaos to order. 
 
In case you have not heard of it, the 315 Project is a ministry whose mission is to help Christians know and share their story.
 
 
I recently launched a new Joomla website for the Braselton Stover house. Their website had become outdated and they wanted to leverage the site to answer many of the questions their customers were asking. 
 
Located in Braselton, Georgia, the Braselton Stover House is a great place for weddings and private events.
 
 
I spent time working with author & speaker, Bryant Cornett. I consulted with him on his marketing workflow, shared new ideas on how he could expand his reach and I made changes to his website. 
 
Bryant Cornett wrote the book "A Rooster Once Crowed: a commentary on the greatest story ever told".

One of the services I offer is an audit. The audit can be done for an organization, a department, a campaign or a project. In this case, a client sought me ought to audit their website. Our mission was to review what they had, what they wanted and create a plan to implement their vision in the short and long-term. In addition to auditing the project, we discovered many underlying motivations, desires and aspirations for the organization and its leader. This experience became a catalyst for improving their website and gaining clarity.

These are some of the specific projects I have worked on. With most of the projects I started during the last 3 months coming to a close, God has continued to provide new project opportunities. I am now in discussions with several organizations about new business and marketing problems I am able to help solve.
